Artsy started to draw at the age of 8. Entered the art lyceum at the age of 12 and graduated at 18. The next 6 years were spent in the art university receiving a degree in the workshop of graphics and posters. Worked as an art director in various creative & design studios. Now utilizes all the academic and digital skills. The techniques that Artsy uses these days are a combination. Traditionally, graphics are pieces created on cardboard or paper and pictorial art represents works created with paint on canvas. Artsy works somewhere in between. The works can have lots of colors that are closer to pictorial art but they are drawn on paper or cardboard which is a part of graphics. Thus, both art directions are used at the same time. Materials used vary from a simple pencil to acrylic paint. The creation of each and any piece is similar to the process of birth. Artsy doesn’t focus on one theme or story, all the works are united by vision and vision only. The variety of stories in Artsy’s art is vast - from childhood memories to momentary experiences. When drawing Artsy conveys thoughts and feelings, it’s the main language to communicate with the world. Hopefully, this language is understood by the viewer.
