With every blank canvas comes the undeniable allure of creation. Subject matter, style, a color, a movement, anything can spark that first stroke of the pen, the paintbrush, the cursor on the computer screen. For NEUROPILA, it was the mesmerizing beauty of pixels and the collaborative creativity of artificial intelligence that drew him into its world and has kept him there ever since. But beyond just the aesthetics, NEUROPILA is driven by a desire to explore otherworldly beings through his art and to use technology to bring those visions to life in unexpected ways.
NEUROPILA reflects on the importance of finding this equilibrium and how he hopes to return to certain series, such as LUCIFER and MEMENTO MORI, that hold deep meaning for him. These works serve as reminders to embrace our own inner demons and to never forget the preciousness of life.
It is clear that NEUROPILA’s art goes beyond just the visual, it delves into the philosophical and existential. Each piece invites us to contemplate our place in this vast universe and to question our own perceptions of reality. And perhaps, as we gaze upon his creations, we may find ourselves transported to a realm where life beyond our reach brings us closer to the lives we live here on earth.

Description
MASTERPIECE FOR AESTHETIC PLEASURE. A UNIQUE WORK IN A SINGLE COPY IS AVAILABLE IN NFT FORMAT. DON’T GIVE UP AESTHETIC PLEASURE!
Memoir
MASTERPIECE RECOGNIZED IN THE FUTURE. IF YOU HAD A TIME MACHINE, YOU COULD BE SURE OF THIS.
Virginia Valenzuela: Your work has many different styles and subjects. Can you tell us a bit about how you get inspired and how you go about playing with different styles?
NEUROPILA: I am inspired by the world around me and my inner experiences. Spring came. I’m experimenting with spring flowers. For example, the work of SPRING FLOWERS AGAIN 1 on Mint Gold Dust. Sakura blossoms in Japan, I create such works [that speak to that beauty]. Regarding different styles, AI provides endless possibilities, and it all feels like a long creative experiment that I’m in right now.
VV: Let’s talk about the Gillespie Algorythm series. I love the use of bright colors against the dark backdrop, and I also love how each artwork within the series is so unique. What was the inspiration for this series?
NEUROPILA: Inspired by Gillespie’s algorithm itself. This is a simple and convenient method for predicting the geometry of molecules. This method is very useful in science, but it is also very good in creating art.
Taking this opportunity, I’ll make a small announcement: the Gillespie Algorythm series will be relaunched based on watercolors.
ELUSIVE GHOST 10

Memoir
BE POLITE TO GHOSTS. AFTER POSSIBLY ONE DAY WE WILL BECOME THEM TOO.

VV: Let’s move on to the Elusive Ghost series. These ghosts each have their own feeling of motion and mystery. In particular, I like the way you play with the idea of ghosts and the aesthetic of skeletons. It kind of merges the moment of death with the afterlife. What interests you about ghosts and how did you go about refining the aesthetic for these ghosts?
NEUROPILA: Ghosts are a very mysterious, frightening and at the same time very attractive topic. I wonder if the ghosts of my departed family and friends surround me and whether I myself will become a ghost in due time. And of course, the theme of ghosts is endlessly variable in terms of aesthetics. It is unlikely that anyone can improve the aesthetics of this phenomenon; it is valuable in itself. But showing different options is possible. I promise there will be many different ghosts.
VV: You have also minted several pieces of art that fall under the pixel art aesthetic. Some of these are still lifes and others are portraits of alien life. I’m curious about what made you want to play with pixel art, considering the Gillespie Algorythm and Elusive Ghost series both have smoother textures.
NEUROPILA: The pixel art is beautiful. This is a very attractive style, I couldn’t resist and tried to work with it. I liked it, so I will definitely continue working in this style.

THE WORK IS DEDICATED TO JOHANNES VERMEER.
Memoir
IN THE HUSTLE AND BUSTLE OF LIFE, FIND TIME FOR ART.
VV: You have a lot of artworks with aliens, skulls, and ghosts. What draws you to these strange and other-worldy beings?
NEUROPILA: Aliens, ghosts and skulls attract me primarily for their aesthetics. And with the help of AI, these aesthetics can manifest in very interesting ways.
VV: We’ve been talking a lot about what you’ve minted on Mint Gold Dust so far. Is there anything coming up that you are especially excited about?
NEUROPILA: I’m concerned about finding a balance between creativity and other areas of life. I would also like to return to the LUCIFER series. I think it is important to remind ourselves that each of us has a part of this being and everyone decides for themselves what to do with it. And also to the MEMENTO MORI series, since it is important to remember that life is short and there is no need to waste it on various nonsense.
