They are anthropomorphic, or humanoid in appearance, with the heads and golden wings of eagles that sound like thunder. The name KARURA comes from the Japanese pronunciation of Garuda. Translation: derived from the Hindu deity Garuda Alternate names: konjichō (golden winged bird) Habitat: Tendō, the realm of heaven which exists at the center of the universe.
