The Cadillac of aerosol caps, this NY Fat capped off my "Tools of the Trade" series depicting vintage and contemporary spray paint cans in mosaic glass pixel art. Cementing into the millennia-old historic mosaic art lineage, this artwork is important to those in graffiti and street art culture, as well as the worldwide mural movement. Made of 12,100 individually hand-placed vitreous glass tiles, the original artwork weighs in over 50 lbs. with the dimensions of 125cm x 125cm x 7cm, framed in ebony-stained poplar. 2021.
